Zohra is from the Saraha Desert and she grew up there during the war of independence. At the age of 8, she lived the resurgence of her own country which was rebuilt progressively from 1962..

She discovered the Algerian literature while she was young and this is how she got into the Middle East history and culture.

Since then, her passion led her to university and  she obtained few years later her Arabic teacher diploma in Oran in 1975.

In 1986, she left Algeria in order to start working as a teacher in France.

She progressively extended her passion for  the middle east culture to differents areas.

In 2000 she started telling tales of a Thousand and One Nights (Arabian nights)  with audiences comprised of adults and children. She felt so blessed to see how people would paie attention to her passion and the middle east culture.

For her, it’s always such a pleasure to tell Arabian nights stories.

At the same time, she learnt how to highlight and bring out the best ouf the arabic writing throught the art of Caligraphy.

She started to practice in 2002 and it quickly became successful. She exhibited many times in Savoie and she tried to use her talent to pursue a noble the cause she believed in.

Today, she has created more than 50 different pieces of art, and each one represents and expresses either a feeling or an event which rythmes our lives such as love, freedom, family, celebration…

Zohra gives life to words thanks to the the way she uses with precision and delicacy her calame.
